Central Carolina Cycling Club has created a provisional set of Club By Laws that will be in place and open for change until December 31, 2012.  After that time the By Laws become permanent and can only be changed in accordance to the procedures specified in the By Law text.  Until that time, any suggestions must be made in writing and sent to the President, after which the proposed changes will be brought before the club officers in subsequent officers meetings for approval.

We are a 60+ member strong open cycling club based in and around Concord/Kannapolis, NC. Here we aim to accommodate road, mountain, or any other type of cycling that our members are into. As a club we actively promote the sport of cycling in a positive light to our community, promote safe, responsible cycling and enjoy the fun atmosphere of group cycling.

 Membership will include the following benefits:
  • Invitations to club social functions such as cookouts, parties, and meetings (most of these will include free food and entertainment - based on club funds availability)
  • The ability to order high-quality club jerseys and shorts (currently being designed by Jakroo.com)
  • Inclusion in all club rides and travel events (we will also travel to non-club rides and events such as Blood, Sweat, and Gears, Assault on Morrow Mountain, etc)
  • Full use of our future Central Carolina Cycling Club mailing lists and communication methods.
  • Inclusion in Central Carolina Cycling team race activities, if interested
  • With membership you will be eligible for discounts and services through our partners.
We are working on adding other member benefits and will pass those on when they materialize. In addition to the items above, you can also take pride in knowing that you helped create this area's first cycling club! Remember that the intent is that we create something positive for our community, ourselves, and our children that long outlasts each of us...and have fun doing it along the way.

While we would like to provide all of this for free, there are a number of startup and ongoing costs related to liability insurance, USA Cycling and League of American Bicyclists registration, post office box acquisition, etc. Some items weren't included in determining the membership fee, such as the website and design which was graciously donated by Matt Hartman.

 
2018 Membership Fee Structure:
  • Individual Adult (19 and over) $25.00
  • Individual Junior (18 and under) $10.00
  • Family (Individual + spouse + children) $45.00 
This will be an annual fee renewable at the first of every year. We now accept Cash, Check or Paypal.
THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT EVERY YEAR TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CLUB INSURANCE

We are a 60+ member strong open cycling club based in and around Concord/Kannapolis, NC. Here we aim to accommodate road, mountain, or any other type of cycling that our members are into. As a club we actively promote the sport of cycling in a positive light to our community, promote safe, responsible cycling and enjoy the fun atmosphere of group cycling.

In mid 2017 we incorporated as C4 Cycling, Inc. DBA Central Carolina Cycling Club, and achieved official 501c3 Non Profit status.

In January of 2010 a group of like-minded cyclists based in and around Concord/Kannapolis, NC gathered to start Central Carolina Cycling Club. We are a cycling club that is open to anyone no matter what your skill level, from BSN (Brand Spankin' New) to more experienced riders. Our main goal is to create a supportive atmosphere for experienced as well as beginner cyclist where we can gather and all ride as a group. Additionally we advocate for better cycling facilities, environment and set up safe cycling routes. We have had great support from the Right Gear (www.rightgear.net), and we have created several rides a week starting at their shop as well as other stating in various location around out community.
