Membership

2012 is going to be a great year. We had an excellent few start up years in 2010-2011 and now have a lot of the wrinkles ironed out with the club management and membership opportunities. Membership will include the following benefits:

Invitations to club social functions such as cookouts, parties, and meetings (most of these will include free food and entertainment - based on club funds availability)
The ability to order high-quality club jerseys and shorts (currently being designed by Hincapie Sports)
Inclusion in all club rides and travel events (we will also travel to non-club rides and events such as Blood, Sweat, and Gears, Assault on Morrow Mountain, etc)
Full use of our future Central Carolina Cycling Club Forum
Inclusion in Central Carolina Cycling team race activities, if interested
With membership you wil be elegible for discounts and services through our partners.
- 10% discount at El Campeon Mexican Restaraunt
- 30% discount on maintenance packages at The Right Gear - Be sure to mention the club discount to Marcee or Jesus
- 10% discount on parts and labor (excluding new bikes) at Brushy Mountain Cycles
- Club organized group buys for significant discounts on many cycling products, including wheels, lights, tires, etc.
- And More!

We are working on adding other member benefits and will pass those on when they materialize. In addtion to the items above, you can also take pride in knowing that you helped create this area's first cycling club! Remember that the intent is that we create something positive for our community, ourselves, and our children that long outlasts each of us...and have fun doing it along the way.

While we would like to provide all of this for free, there are a number of startup and ongoing costs related to liability insurance, USA Cycling and League of American Bicyclists registration, post office box acquisition, etc. Some items weren't included in determining the membership fee, such as the website and design which was graciously donated by Matt Hartman.

Taking into consideration all of these costs, we arrived at a 2012 membership fee structure:

Individual Adult (19 and over) $25.00 $20.00 (before March 30, 2012)
Individual Junior (18 and under) $10.00
Family (Individual + spouse + children) $45.00 $35.00 (before March 30, 2012)

This will be an annual fee renewable at the first of every year. We now accept Cash, Check or Paypal.

THE MEMBERSHIP APPLICTION MUST BE FILLED OUIT EVERY YEAR TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CLUB INSURANCE
